NEW YORK (AP) — Wall Street is closing out its worst week in a month with more losses on Friday.The S&P 500 was 0.9% lower in late trading and on track for a fourth straight drop. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 188 points, or 0.6%, as of 3 p.m. Eastern time, and the Nasdaq composite was 1.1% lower.The stock market has been struggling under the weight of the bond market, where the yield on the 10-year Treasury briefly topped 5% late Thursday for the first time since 2007, according to Tradeweb. High yields make borrowing more expensive for everyone, and they slow the economy while dragging on prices for stocks and other investments.The yield on the 10-year Treasury was sitting at 4.91% after easing from within a hair of 5% earlier in the morning. DENVER (KDVR) -- The Regional Transportation District offered free fares in an effort to reduce ground-level ozone for two months over the summer, resulting in over one million additional rides this year.The Zero Fare for Better Air initiative was made possible with SB 22-180, which provides grants to RTD to cover costs so the community can utilize public transportation during peak ozone season. (AP) — Deputies in central Florida investigating a woman who had jumped to her death into a lake from a highway bridge later found her 5-year-old twins dead at her home, authorities said Friday.Deputies were called to a highway bridge in Seminole County, Florida, a suburb of Orlando, Friday morning after motorists witnessed the 31-year-old woman exiting the passenger side of a car and jumping into the lake below.The woman was pronounced dead after her body was pulled from the water with the help of nearby boaters, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.Deputies went to the woman’s house after learning her identity and that she had 5-year-old twins who weren’t in the car. A man accused of a violent home invasion that left a homeowner injured appeared before a judge today. Isaac Green is now facing charges of armed home invasion and aggravated battery.The incident occurred on Thursday when Green reportedly forced his way inside a residence on West 73rd Street in Hialeah. During the robbery, he allegedly stabbed the victim and tied her up before fleeing with stolen goods.Green was arrested shortly after the incident. MBTA worker hospitalized after brush with third rail on Red Line tracks

An MBTA employee made contact with the third rail at North Quincy Station early Friday morning, resulting in a minor burn, MBTA officials said.Around 4:38 a.m., the worker dropped a wrench, and his leg made contact with the third rail while working on the Braintree branch.The worker, conscious and alert, was transported to Boston Medical Center, an MBTA spokesperson confirmed.The transit agency said the incident is under investigation by their safety department and the Department of Public Works.
